Still Voice

The Lord laid in spirit still and voice so I had to see what he wanted me to know. When looking it all came together. He used examples of my day yesterday, my life and my walk. Sometimes he would speak to me and I would be so stubborn I would not listen. Got myself in things I shouldn’t and fell into traps the enemy set for me. Obeying your fathers voice is a “MUST” he speaks to protect, progress, invest etc in you. Listening to testimonies yesterday it was mostly God speaking to people and we were obeying he’s commands.

Then i looked into being still it is important he wants you to be still in he’s presence bathing in he’s word knowing he’s God. Being still allows you to hear he’s voice and humbly obeying he’s commands. When I mean still doesn’t necessarily mean standing still still meaning subdued or low in sound, quiet, stillness, silence.

I started going deeper into the voice the noun said “the sound uttered through the mouth of living creatures especially through human beings” Our voice brings words speak positive with your voice our tongue speaks life and death. We should speak life into one another encouraging and lifting up one another in Christ. And most importantly listening to the voice of our father.

Word of the day
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalms 46:10 KJV)

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. (Exodus 23:21, 22 KJV)
