Raising children in Christ

My beautiful single parents. Just a quick word of inspiration. You are not alone! Why because God didn’t bring you this far to leave you. Your purpose truly stands at the fact He gave you a blessing to bear children He knows you have the ability to raise them. The choice is raising them the right way. He way is the best way. He has given us the tools to conquer every situation that may come our way. He is our provider of all our needs. It is all in His word.

Let’s look at proverbs 31…..

Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies. Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She finds wool and flax and busily spins it. She is like a merchant’s ship, bringing her food from afar. She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day’s work for her servant girls. She goes to inspect a field and buys it; with her earnings she plants a vineyard. She is energetic and strong, a hard worker. She makes sure her dealings are profitable; her lamp burns late into the night. Her hands are busy spinning thread, her fingers twisting fiber. She extends a helping hand to the poor and opens her arms to the needy. She has no fear of winter for her household, for everyone has warm clothes. She makes her own bedspreads. She dresses in fine linen and purple gowns. Her husband is well known at the city gates, where he sits with the other civic leaders. She makes belted linen garments and sashes to sell to the merchants. She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the lord will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.
God wouldn’t give one woman the abilty and not give another. Stop allowing your mind to contribute to what is in your spirit. Unlock the true capability and capacity to do all you have in you to do. Remove yourself from the box of inability.
(Proverbs 31:10-31 NLT)

Though this verse speaks about being a wife it also speaks of being a mother.

Repeat after me ……

I am taking myself out the box. Removing the chains of poverty. Extending my arm to righteousness. Excluding myself from negative mind sets. Reaching for holiness. Leaning on the word. Escaping from the minimal and stretching for the greater.

God clearly states in His word…..

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT)

This should give you great hope. He hasn’t given you a child and left you lonely. Your story has already been written so all you need to do is trust Him and His ways. I truly want you beautiful ladies to know your worth.

So repeat after me…
It is ok not to except people and the nonsense they bring my way.  It is ok to correct people with love. It is ok to say what I won’t tolerate. It is ok to protect my heart. It is ok to love myself. My worth is high above what I can even imagine, for the mare fact I was made in His image!

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
(Genesis 1:27 NLT)

This means we already had a divine purpose and was placed here for good intent. The next time that feeling of discontent or purposelessness come your way. Remember one of your purposes was to bear and raise beautiful children. Don’t let your mind defeat your purpose. #desiretoinspire @jasnethrichards
